The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Tuesday, October 23 reveals a ray of hope for Lily, Jack on a mission to get rid of Ashley, and Traci playing hero.
Lily Finds An Escape
Life behind bars isn’t easy for anyone and Lily’s (Christel Khalil) no exception. She’s been bullied, belittled, and is losing her sense of self. However, instead of laying down and giving up, she’s making the best of a bad situation – through makeup.
That’s right, the former model is npw a DIY lip gloss expert and her glittery lips are the talk of her cell block.
She’s even starting to make some friends, or at least that’s what she’ll tell Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Devon (Bryton James). Are things really picking up or is she just putting up a front?
Meanwhile, there’s some serious drama going down at Jabot that’ll rip the family even further apart.
Dina’s (Marla Adams) ready to wrestle Kyle (Michael Mealor) to the ground to save Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) future and things are set to get UGLY!
Thankfully, Dina’s beloved John (well, Jack) arrives just in time to save the day. Except he doesn’t.
Jack Does the Unthinkable!
Once Jack sees those documents, his heart falls to his feet. This is a nightmare for Jabot and if Ashley pulls rank, Jabot would sink without a doubt.

Jack has one chance to do what he feels is best. He puts on his best John hat and takes control of the entire situation.
No, he and Dina do not be present their daughter with this papers. Instead, he shreds them himself, right in front of Dina’s eyes — as she stands there and cries.
Traci To The Rescue?
Jack and Kyle may think they’re out of the woods, but Dina’s be fooled. Once home, she waits until those devilish men leave the house and spills the whole sordid tale (or as much as she can remember) to Traci (Beth Maitland).
Dina’s intel won’t be much, but it’ll be enough to set Traci off on a search. And, she does this just as Ashley is making amends with Abby — and Jack!
When Traci gets to the office, she heads straight to the shredder and literally put the pieces back together.
A little time and a lot of tape is all it takes to change Jabot’s history. But, will Traci take the document to Ashley or will she follow Jack’s lead and get rid of it and bury the truth forever?
