The Young and the Restless spoilers breakdown for Thursday, August 16 reveal Lily preparing for the worst, Phyllis burying a scandal, and Mariah going all out for her mom.

Bridal Requests
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) does her best to get into the maid of honor spirit and plan a lovely day for her mother. She and Nick (Joshua Morrow) have a sit down to go over some ground rules and Nick wants this day to be perfect and hopes Mariah can pull through.

Unfortunately, Mariah’s not the daughter he needs to worry about.

Mother Vs. Daughter
Poor Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) has her hands full when Summer (Hunter King) spills all the sordid details of the one-night stand.

She has it all figured out, and to make matters worse, Kyle (Michael Mealor) does too. This is one scandal that won’t go away and Summer’s ready to blow it wide open.

Expect the ladies to race to the Jabot office to get to Billy first. Thankfully, he’s not there, which gives Phyllis some time to come up with a game plan.

She begs, pleads, and even tries bribing her way out of this mess, but Summer’s not having it. In fact, she plans to sit in Billy’s office until he gets back so she can unleash this beast!

Lily Prepares Herself
Tensions also run high between Lily (Christel Khalil) and Cane (Daniel Goddard) as she prepares for years  behind bars. Lily wants to get all her affairs in order and have a good plan for the children before she’s cuffed, but Cane isn’t exactly cooperative.

Cane’s not ready to face the harsh reality of living without his wife. Lily pushes her husband a little too far while trying to convince him to prepare for the worst. They have no idea what’s to come so it’s important they have all their ducks in a row.

Cold As Ice
The Ashbys sense of impending doom runs deep when Devon (Bryton James) arrives at the office. Lily’s brother is colder than ever and he won’t let up on Lily – not even a little bit.
