The Young and the Restless spoilers breakdown for Monday, October 15 tease the dramatic and shocking end to one storyline and the heating up of another.
Ashley Admits Everything!
It’s Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) day of reckoning as her secrets come out. She faces her family’s wrath when she admits to setting up this massive scheme to get back at Jack.
It all boils down to that Blood Abbott clause and the hell Jack put her through since he presented her with the new amendment last year.
All The Reasons Why
Once alone with Jack, Ashley spills all. She singlehandedly set up the greatest scheme in their family’s history.
She manipulated Dina (Marla Adams), a woman with Alzheimer’s, into thinking she had another affair, spliced the movie, used her hair instead of Traci’s, hired Andrew to fudge the second test, and waited for Billy to break down when he became power-hungry.
But, she had reasons. And, she’s amazingly prescient at predicting exactly what her family would do.
Jack’s used the Blood Abbott Clause to his full advantage since it’s inception. He made sure Ashley knew her place as Brent’s daughter.
He stripped her of her identity, her rights to their father’s legacy, and even tried to frame her when she worked at Newman. He made her life a living hell and it was time for karma to catch up with him.
The Abbotts Fall Apart!

Of course, no excuse in the world is enough for Jack or even Kyle for that matter. The younger Abbott retreats to the mansion with his aunt and cousin and bares his soul. Like Jack, he lost his whole identity that day too.
Kyle has never felt like part of the Abbott family and these last months prove there’s a divide. In fact, it was only yesterday Abby (Melissa Ordway) told him just how awful he really is and how he doesn’t deserve the life he’s lived.
Expect trust to be broken all through the Abbott ranks. Traci falls apart, Ashley eventually begs for forgiveness, and Jack has a violent breakdown and ends up destroying the office.
But, Ashley was going to tell Jack the truth for Christmas. Really, she was. But, Christmas came early.
The Women Take Control!
The ladies feel the walls closing in when the last letter reaches Sharon’s (Sharon Case) house. The sender wants money – big money – and the women have 24 hours to pay.
Wiring cash is a risk but Nikki thinks it’s one they have to take. However, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) has other plans.
She thinks it’s high time to call their villain out, set him up, and take him down. The torment has to end sometime, and if they pay once, they’ll be paying forever.
No one can seem to agree on what to do, and, in the end, they agree to do nothing. That’s right, they’re going to wait it out, not pay the money, and let the cards fall as they may.
