The Young and the Restless spoilers breakdown for Monday, August 20 reveal a day of great achievements and epic failures for your favorite GC residents!

Father Vs. Daughter
Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Summer (Hunter King) go another round when they run into each other at the dive bar. He’s disappointed his daughter is the new town sellout and she’s angry at his actions.

HE’S the one who cheated, HE’S the one lying, and HE’S the one who offered the check. SHE has nothing to feel guilty about, at least that Nick knows of, or does he?

Nick then shocks Summer with a startling accusation. He’s sure his daughter has a thing for Billy (Jason Thompson) and that’s why she’s willing to destroy her parents. Nick puts Summer on notice – keep out of his business or he’ll spill her secret too!

Summer’s Shot Down AGAIN
Nick couldn’t be more right. Later, Summer corners Billy (Jason Thompson) in an elevator and makes him confess his attraction. She knows he wants her and she offers herself up. But, much to her dismay, Billy doesn’t take the bait.

Nick Bites Back
The encounter with his daughter getsNick thinking — if he can’t control Summer, at least he can control Billy.

He calls the realtor and gbuys that holding company. Now that he’s in the drivers seat Billy will have to answer to him, the new landlord!

Of course, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) are delighted to learn of Nick’s new purchase. It’s a huge step forward in their plan to take Billy down.

Love On the Rocks
Good news is something Ashley needs after an awkward morning waking up in Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) bed. It looks like the couple had a good night, but is it all too much for Ashley?

Neil’s smitten for sure but Ashley goes cold fast. Poor Neil is left to wonder if they really have a future after all.

Lily Goes For Broke
Meanwhile, Lily (Christel Khalil) makes one final plea for forgiveness and it doesn’t go over well with Devon.

He’s hurt, angry, and wants revenge. She’s just lucky he’s going about the legal way. Devon storms off while threatening to cut Lily out of his life once and for all.

A Moment of Clarity
He may have a change of heart, though. A visit with Mariah (who’s panicking about not hearing from Tessa) could be just what they both need.

They pair talk things out as they go through all Hilary’s clothes. True love and family are what’s important and Devon urges Mariah (Camryn Grimes) to follow her heart and search for Tessa while she begs him to give his family a second chance.
