The legal eagle opens up and reveals confessing and pleading guilty were Lily’s idea and she’s ready to throw herself under the bus if it means getting her brother back.
If this isn’t enough, perhaps a few words from Vicky will help. She knows a lot about family drama and forgiveness and offers up some experience of her own.
She’s urges Devon to look deep in his heart and figure out the right move, not one that feels good in the moment.
Finally, Shauna (Camryn Hamm) says something that hits Devon straight to the heart. She’s fresh from a reunion with Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and dreads the trial. She wants to do Hilary justice but hurting the Ashby family just doesn’t feel right.
Rattling Cages
After her run-in with Devon, Vicky heads straight to office hoping to lose herself in paperwork. However, that’s not in the cards.
Instead, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) pays her a visit to explain why he’s in GC. He claims he’s a bill collector but Vicky calls his bluff. She offers to pay off her ex’s debt right on the spot.
The walls close in on Rey and he leaves her office in a huff. But, he’s not rattled. Actually, it’s quite the opposite and he makes a mysterious phone call to inform his cohort their mark fell for his act.
Poor Vicky’s already shaken and a voicemail from Sharon freaking out about Rey carrying a gun sends her over the edge.
She spirals out of control and if forced to call her family doc. While Nate rushes to her side and helps her through her panic attack, all she can do is remember when JT had his hands around her neck.
She wonders aloud why she ever forgave him and cries that if she just kicked him out that night, her life would be so different now. She then runs up the stairs and all Nate can do is sit there stunned about what she said.
