The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, May 20 reveal a day of shock, shots, and awe in Genoa City.
A shot in the stomach jogs Adam’s memory, as Phyllis makes a move, and Arturo tries to make amends. You won’t want to miss a moment of this emotional episode.
A Shot In the Arm
Adam (Mark Grossman) told Victor (Eric Braeden) what he thinks of him — well, the him he’s gotten to know recently — and announced that he’s leaving Genoa City and going back to Las Vegas.
A bullet to the gut nipped that plan in the bud. Adam is rushed to the hospital, where Victor’s plan works. Adam remembers his father! But is that all he remembers? And who gave him the little memory jog, anyway?
When that little mystery is resolved, it’s going to be quite a shocker for Adam and EVERYONE around him.
Taking Over
Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) strongly warned Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) not to go into business selling Jabot accessory knock-offs. Jack (Peter Bergman) put Phyllis on notice. Summer (Hunter King) told her mom to leave Summer out of it.
So what does Phyllis do? She prepares to go into business selling Jabot accessory knock-offs. Phyllis defends that everyone does it.
That Sally Spectra from Los Angeles built an entire fashion house out of ripping off the Forrester family. And everyone loves her (now that she’s dead). Phyllis can do at least as well as that red-headed broad!

Arturo (Jason Canela) has a lot of apologies to make. He needs to apologize to Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) for sleeping with his wife. He needs to apologize to his ex-fiancee Abby (Melissa Ordway) for sleeping with his ex-girlfriend.
He also needs to apologize to Lola (Sasha Calle) for hooking up with the woman who tried to kill her. Sure, it was an accident, but Arturo is still sticking by Mia (Noemi Gonzalez).
And then he needs to get out of Genoa City — with Mia — because those bridges aren’t just burned. They are incinerated.
