Just a week ago it looked like there was finally a ray of light in Sage’s life. She may have lost her son, but the chance to adopt brought new found hope and happiness to her world. The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday tease there’s going to be trouble in Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) paradise and she may not get the baby she wants after all.
Sage starts to notice that there’s something not quite right about the way Nick (Joshua Morrow) is acting about adopting Shawn’s baby. While she’s over-the-moon excited, Nick is taking things at a much slower pace. Sage is already getting ready for baby and Nick shows no enthusiasm.
When Sage confronts her husband about sabotaging their chances at parenthood, he admits he has some serious reservations. He doesn’t think Sage is ready to be a mommy again, and that she only wants Shawn’s (Devon Martinez) son to replace the child they lost.

Hearing Nick’s feelings isn’t going to sit well with Sage, and it may even lead to the end of their relationship. Sage only wants a second chance at motherhood and knowing her own husband is standing in her way is more stress than she can take.
