In an upcoming “Young and the Restless” episode, Summer makes the hasty decision to lie at her deposition hearing to keep her mother out of jail, but will that be the end of her ordeal?
Summer (Hunter King) isn’t the most street smart Newman. In fact, her naivety may get the best of her when she returns to apologize to Vicky and make peace. The weight of her lies weigh heavily and her guilt is eating away at her. However, she may screw herself if her aunt is anything like her grandpa.
Summer admits to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that she’s sorry about everything that transpired and Vicky shockingly accepts the apology. The Newman CEO is even gentle and kind, telling her niece she understands Summer was only trying to protect her mother.
Will Victoria really look the other way and let Summer get away being the reason Newman Enterprises may lose Passkey forever? That doesn’t seem very likely at all. Victoria is too much like her dad to let a betrayal go without some hardcore revenge.
Our instincts tells us there’s more going on in that office than meets the eye. Is Vicky perhaps recording the conversation and now all she needs to nail the Abbotts, their supporters, and her niece to the wall? After all, Leslie (Angell Conwell) was in the office only moments before, taping all the depositions. Perhaps the tape was still recording when Summer said her piece.
If we’re right, Victoria may hold the golden ticket that will make NE billions of dollars, screwing all of her enemies, including Summer herself, in the process.
