et ready for a day chock full of action-packed baby drama, according to “Young and the Restless” spoilers. It looks like poor Shawn could be having a change of heart.
When Sage (Kelly Sullivan) approaches Shawn to sign the adoption papers, the teen mom takes complete offense. Shawn promises there’s nothing that could change her mind about the adoption, but he’s in no rush to sign the rights to her baby away. She wants to wait until they are at the hospital before she puts pen to paper and relinquishes her child for good.
Things go from bad to worse for the Newmans when Shawn (Devon Martinez) goes into early labor and ends up in emergency surgery. Baby David is coming, and when he does, he’ll be one sick little man.
History repeats itself for Sage and Nick (Joshua Morrow) as their newest (almost adopted) son struggles for life in the NICU. Only this time, they have no rights to the child at all, and his distressed mother is in no condition to make the adoption official.

Will Shawn renege on her promise to sign over her baby to Nick and Sage? It doesn’t look good at all, especially now that David is here early and clinging to life.
Sage may walk away from the hospital with a broken heart once again if she loses Shawn’s baby just months after being told her one and only child passed away.
