Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Picks a Fight With Diane

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, May 10, have got us wondering what Phyllis’ problem with Diane is this time. Is it Harrison? Is it Jack? Is it that there’s only room for one scheming redhead in Genoa City?

Here’s a fun — if eye-opening — fact: A year ago, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Ashley (Eileen Davidson), and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford, who recently overcame this hairy situation) had formed an enemy-of-my-enemy-is-my-friend coven to drive Diane (Susan Walters) out of town. Now, Nikki is in rehab, Ashley is severely mentally ill, and Phyllis is more or less a pariah with everyone except her children and her ex-husbands (and even they’re not thrilled with her).

So, the women who wanted to destroy Diane have all watched their lives implode. While Diane is happily married to Jack (Peter Bergman). Well, she was. Until she found out Jack risked his sobriety for Nikki. Does Phyllis see that chink in the armor? And is that why she descends on Diane? Does she think she can make the schism worse? And get Jack back for herself?

Maybe Yes, Maybe No

Even drunk and psychotic, Jordan (Colleen Zenk) realizes she’s a thorn in Victor’s (Eric Braeden) side and always will be until he decides what to do with her. He can’t kill her. Even Victor knows that would be tough to explain after he has already proclaimed her death. So Jordan made Victor an offer to get them both out of this mess they’re in. He hasn’t responded yet. But that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been thinking about it.

We’ve Got Your Back

Claire’s (Hayley Erin) “oh, noes, I was stuck in a bunker, trapped under a dead body, so, see, I’m also an innocent victim” story is so full of holes we still have no idea whether or not she and Jordan were working together to kidnap Harrison (Redding Munsall). Victoria (Amelia Heinle), however, needs to believe that her newfound daughter is an angel. So the more she takes offense, the harder Victoria plays defense.
