Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jordan, Diane & Phyllis Have Lots to Say

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, May 7, put women in the driver’s seat as each plays her own version of Let’s Make a Deal.

Cost Benefit Analysis

Victor (Eric Braeden, who praised this performance recently) thinks he holds all the cards where Jordan (Colleen Zenk) is concerned. He’s tossed her a bottle of booze and told her to drink herself to death.

But Jordan isn’t so completely far gone that she can’t figure out that the last thing Victor wants is a dead body on his hands. What’s he going to do with it? How is he going to explain “finding” it in his basement after he swore that he saw her wash away in a flood? So Jordan has a tiny bit of leverage left. And she’s about to use it for all it’s worth when she offers her nemesis a sweet deal destined to benefit both of them.

The Chosen

Jack (Peter Bergman) would do anything for Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). That’s what’s making Diane (Susan Walters) so furious. Jack risked his own sobriety, his marriage, and his life for the woman who has always chosen Victor over him. And he did it in such a pointless way, too. Couldn’t he have faked taking pills? No? OK, just a thought.

Jack wants Diane to move on from his little adventure. She’s having a spot of trouble doing that. Which is why she gives him an ultimatum. That he’d better accept.

Like Mother Like Daughter

Summer (Allison Lanier) doesn’t think it’s safe for Claire (Hayley Erin) to be around Harrison (Edding Munsell). She has no problem with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford — find out what’s on her Daytime Emmy reel) being around the boy, though. Why, Phyllis is a bastion of sanity! If she weren’t, would Summer be listening to her mother’s advice about how to handle Claire, Kyle (Michael Mealor), and anyone else who dares disagree with her? Phyllis always knows the most rational way to deal with a problem.
