The residents of Genoa City deal with the heartbreaking death of Sage in the upcoming “Young and the Restless Spoilers.” As word spreads, lives are turned upside down.
It’s the day after Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) accident, and shockingly, even the Newman’s are just learning what happened. One by one, they hear of Sage’s passing and show try to be there for Nick (Joshua Morrow). He’s a mess and can’t even begin to process the death of his amazing wife.
When Sharon (Sharon Case) goes to Nick’s side, he catches her off guard with some questions about Sage’s last moments. Instead of coming clean, Sharon continues to cover her tracks.
Across the hall, Adam (Justin Hartley) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) discuss their friends passing and how it was probably best that she died never knowing the truth that he was Christian’s dad. They agree that a secret like that coming out with only destroy lives instead of help them.

Perhaps this is why Adam lies to Dylan (Steve Burton) about Sage’s voicemail that she left him about Christian. Instead of admitting that she called him distraught, he fibs and says she was merely trying to reach Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) tries to offer his services to Newman Enterprises, but is quickly shot down by Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Summer (Hunter King) doesn’t take the rejection lightly and sets her family straight on how they will treat Luca going forward.
Luca starts to plot his next move and promises to help Summer rise to the top of NE. She’s taken a back seat for months, but he wants to see her taking over Victor’s throne.
