The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, May 24, place Cole in a quandary. He’s no fan of his aunt Jordan. There was the whole who kidnapped his newborn daughter and brainwashed her, followed by trying to kill Cole’s ex-wife and her family thing. But then there’s the Victor keeping the madwoman prisoner thing. What’s the right thing for him to do?
Law, Order, and Loyalty
Obviously, Cole’s (J. Eddie Peck) first priority is Claire (Hayley Erin), followed by Victoria (Amelia Heinle). They are both in danger as long as Jordan (Colleen Zenk) is walking around free. But should Victor (Eric Braeden) be allowed to take the law into his own hands? (We know, we know, he’s done it dozens of times. But that doesn’t make it right. And, in the past, Cole didn’t have much of a say about it.)
If Cole confronts Victor and threatens to expose what he’s done, will Victor deny, give in…or will Cole end up in prison next to Auntie Jordan and her uneaten Brussels Sprouts?
Uninvited Guests
Victor, meanwhile, figures he’s got everything under control. No one will ever figure out what he’s done, so he’s free to keep Jordan under lock and key, spitting food at her to his heart’s content. But that is before he’s confronted by the last two people he expected to see. Ones who might upset his very delicate apple cart.
Second Thoughts
Summer (Allison Lanier) has made her feelings clear: She does not want Claire taking care of Harrison (Redding Munsall). (Could Summer be right?) Kyle (Michael Mealor) has indicated the opposite: He’ll do whatever he wants to do, however he wants to do it.
Harrison has also expressed enthusiasm for Claire. Claire told Summer she understood why her cousin may not trust her. But couldn’t she have another chance? After all, they’ll be family forever.
