Next Week on The Young and the Restless
The Newmans Win
Well, there you go. The Abbotts did whatever they could to fend off Victor’s AI attack against Jack (Peter Bergman) and Jabot. The drastic measures they took to shut down the family company must not work. Because next week, the spoilers reveal that Victor (Eric Braeden, who recently set the record straight on rumors) celebrates a win against Jack. Perhaps Michael’s inside information, which he shared with The Mustache this week, did its job.
Meanwhile, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) learns of Victor’s latest coup against Jabot. There’s no way she will be happy with her husband. He knows how she feels about Jack, and he doesn’t care. Hopefully, Victor is about to learn the consequences of his actions. Hope his revenge was worth it.
Nikki isn’t a fan of his secrets. So if she hadn’t eavesdropped on Victor and Adam (Mark Grossman), she might not have known anything about what’s going on.
The Abbotts Lose
Even knowing what was coming, Jack and the Abbotts came together to decide as one unit what they wanted to do. Unfortunately, it may not have been enough. We don’t know if Jabot becomes as decimated as Arabesque was, but the Abbotts are defeated.
However, they will not dwell on their loss. No wallowing for the Abbotts. Look for Jack to begin planning his counterattack. Jack knows who to blame, and it’s not just Victor. Jack will hold Adam and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) accountable for their actions.
Knowing that, we can deduce that perhaps Adam and Chelsea actually do something to cause a diversion at Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally’s Abbott Communications launch party. Suddenly, their retro shindig takes a turn, and on Tuesday, Billy and Sally (Courtney Hope) scramble to do damage control. So this means their new company also takes a hit due to Victor’s revenge agenda.
Odds & Ends
In related news, Diane (Susan Walters) turns to Michael (Christian LeBlanc) for help. This might be a mistake, considering Michael slipped Victor some pretty damning information he found out while helping out The Mustache. Will Diane guess what Michael did?
What does Billy usually do when he’s on the wrong side of a war, especially if it involves Victor? He takes a monster gamble, and this one isn’t going to make Sally happy, unless she is tired of taking hit after hit. The teaser suggests that Billy strikes a deal with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Yikes.

And finally, Matt’s back in Genoa City. And it’s definitely Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). At the end of Friday’s episode, he showed up at the GCAC, and before he entered, he said, “I forgot how much I hated this place.” At the end of next week’s episodes, it’s the big confrontation between Matt and Nick (Joshua Morrow). In fact, their rivalry is set to take a dangerous turn.
