Next week, on The Young and the Restless, Jill Abbott becomes a factor as she and Billy once again go toe-to-toe. Meanwhile, Audra asks Nate for a second chance. And Nikki puts Diane in her place. But we all know that Diane doesn’t do well with people who attempt to do that to her. Are we in for another heated Nikki versus Diane interaction?
Next Week on The Young and the Restless
Jill and Billy
Jack (Peter Bergman) thinks Jill (Jess Walton) is the key to dealing with Cane (Billy Flynn) versus Genoa City’s biggest and most powerful private family corporations. So it’s no surprise to learn that next week’s teasers reveal that Jill is back to contribute some added spice to the mix.
On Thursday, Jill returns home to settle unfinished business with Billy (Jason Thompson) and Cane. Billy’s damaged over Jill selling Chancellor out from under him. This sent him spiraling to the point where he made a mess of things with Jack and Billy. But for now, he has pulled back, although Cane’s rescinding his alliance with Billy had a lot to do with that.
On Friday, it seems like it’s down to Jill and Billy. Look for Billy to reopen old wounds with Jill. How many accusations will mother and son fling at each other? Will their relationship be damaged beyond repair, or will they be able to salvage something? More importantly, will they actually listen to each other’s points of view?
Nikki, Victor, and Jack
Despite Jack making a Hail Mary move and exploring a potential alliance with Victor (Eric Braeden), don’t expect things to extend to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Diane (Susan Walters). The teasers suggest that next week, Nikki puts Diane in her place. Does Nikki have a leg to stand on here? And will Diane fight back? Maybe those two need to make their own temporary truce.
Victor and Jack’s collaboration proceeds when the fierce rivals agree on a plan of attack. But the question that remains is whether or not this shaky alliance can succeed. There has been nothing but bitterness and vitriol recently.
Lauren and Michael
Next week, Nikki also meets with Lauren (Tracey Bregman), who ends up putting Nikki in a tough position. What is this tough position, and does this involve Michael (Christian LeBlanc)? This week, he and Cane ended their professional relationship, but not before Michael vowed to stop Cane from the outside.
Speaking of which, Michael has difficulty resisting old habits. These habits could be of the darker variety, like he has tapped into before? Or maybe these old habits involve working for Victor. Victor is deadset on stopping Cane, and so is Michael. This could mean Victor and Michael somehow team up in some capacity — the retired attorney could join the Victor/Jack alliance.
Odds & Ends
Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) plan to visit Noah (Lucas Adams) next week. This must be the setup for bringing Noah back into the fold. What reason do the exes have to visit their son?
Meanwhile, Sally (Courtney Hope) keeps a secret from Billy. Is this the right move for Sally? She has been tired of Billy’s secrets and vengeful urges. Throw a new secret into the mix, and their relationship may not be able to take it.
Finally, Audra (Zuleyka Silver), who has but one ally in Genoa City (Sally), decides to ask Nate (Sean Dominic) for a second chance. He is super disappointed in Audra and how she sold out her relationship with him, all in a bid to get Vibrante off the ground. And now she realizes what she lost. How will Nate respond?
