The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of September 23-27 focus on Sharon’s continued descent into madness. And her family is worried while they work to prevent disaster from happening.
The Sharon Spiral
Prepare yourselves because Sharon’s week will be dark. This leads up to Sharon Case’s special 30th-anniversary episode, which features a look back at her character’s memorable moments.
But until then, Sharon will be going through it. Her dreams will haunt her, and when she’s awake, she continues to spiral. When something happens to trigger her to explore her dark side, who will be on the receiving end of this darkness and revenge? Will her pain be directed at Daniel (Michael Graziadei), or will someone be collateral damage?

The Business Interlude
While Sharon’s wrapped up in a cloak of darkness, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) works to protect Billy (Jason Thompson). She tried to come up with a plan that would extricate Billy from Victor’s (Eric Braeden) line of fire. But there’s no way that buying him out of Chancellor was the solution. So, what’s her next plan to help out her ex-husband?
Elsewhere, Audra (Zuleyka Silver) encourages Sally (Courtney Hope) to play dirty. It’s unclear whether this is in a professional or personal capacity. But yay for getting more Audra and Sally friendship scenes. If Audra advises Sally to tap into her dark side, then we need to know what Sally is thinking immediately. Who does this involve?

Odds and Ends
Look for Adam (Mark Grossman) to lose his cool. This should come as no surprise. He is all over the place with his feelings. One day, he wants Sally to take him back, and the next, he tells Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) that they should think about becoming a family again. And now Billy confronts Adam and wants to know what went down between Adam and Chelsea. Will any punches get thrown? That’s what we want to know.
Meanwhile, Heather (Vail Bloom) and Daniel plan a fresh start. What they need to do is forget about planning. They need to get in a car with Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant — who recently released a new song) and get the heck out of dodge ASAP. If they stick around, nothing good will happen.
Finally, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) try to devise a way to help Sharon. That’s all well and good, but they’ve devised plans before, and nothing has worked. What makes them think that this time will work?
