On The Young and the Restless, spoilers for the week of June 10 – June 14 focus on toxic conversations, actions, and potential for disaster. Yup, it will be quite the dramatic week in Genoa City.
Wait until you see what’s about to happen between Victor (Eric Braeden) and Jack (Peter Bergman) this week. It’s something that’s been brewing for a while now. Victor did not appreciate Jack stepping in as a sponsor for Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). And Victor’s anger and thirst for revenge skyrocketed when things ended with that train wreck of a night in the hotel room.
So far, he’s been laying some groundwork. He’s done things like stir the pot with Kyle (Michael Mealor). After all, Kyle already had issues with his mom and not being co-CEO of Jabot. Well, Victor finally makes his move. Midweek, he and Nikki share a difference of opinion about her connection with Jack. By the end of the week, Victor pounces and retaliates against Jack. Will his big move hit Jack hard? And in what way?
Audra (Zuleyka Silver — Soap Hub discusses who the perfect man for Audra is here) says she’s over Tucker (Trevor St. John). She has her own plans for retaliation against the man that she refuses to marry. But she channels all her distress and disgust into wrenching Glissade from Tucker’s manipulative hands. Despite all her trying, do not look for Audra to succeed in business this week.
First, she experiences a professional setback. Um…hasn’t she already? All the board members seemed to ignore her phone calls and canceled their meetings. How much worse does it get for her? When Tucker turns on you, he tends to go all scorched earth, right? On top of this madness, teasers suggest she is in for a rude awakening. Is this another professional backstabbing? Or is this because Tucker’s, once again, thinking about Ashley?
Oh, that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). He thinks he’s smooth. At Chancellor-Winters (and Abbott if he has his way), he needs Lily (Christel Khalil) as an ally. And it looks like he’ll do anything to make that happen, like turn on the charm with his ex. What will the consequences of his actions be? Will Lily (hopefully) be on to him? If not her, then Devon or Nate? Is Lily vulnerable to Billy’s charms right about now?
Meanwhile, Ashley (Eileen Davidson — Y&R’s Performer for the Month of May) went through hell with Dr. Alan Laurent’s (Christopher Cousins) evil twin brother, Martin (also Christopher Cousins). Plus, she still has those alters to worry about. She must decide to go to the facility her friend suggests because Ashley travels outside her comfort zone. Will she be able to get the help she needs? Why is she even listening to Alan’s recommendation? She might want to hightail it back to Genoa City and get help there.
Finally, Summer (Allison Lanier) struggles with co-parenting with Kyle. She already admitted to Chance (Conner Floyd) that she’s a bit jealous of Claire’s (Hayley Erin) connection to Harrison (Redding Munsell). Is this where the struggle stems from? After all, Kyle and Claire get along famously, potentially making Summer feel like the odd woman out. How does Summer resolve to repair this situation?
