Next week, on The Young and the Restless, the drama escalates with Cane’s AI program still a potential weapon. Certain characters take the offense, while others play defense. Lily catches Cane and Phyllis in a compromising position. How will she react to witnessing that? Meanwhile, Billy will have to deal with the Newmans the same week he lets Sally down…again. Additionally, Sharon takes matters into her own hands and becomes a threatening force of nature.

Key Takeaways

  • Mama Bear Sharon takes charge, leading to a heated showdown that could expose the truth.
  • Drama Magnet Billy clashes with Sally and faces Victor and Adam’s wrath — will his next move cost him everything?
  • Caught in the Act! Lily walks in on Cane and Phyllis in a compromising position — but is it passion, deception, or both?
  • Wedding Bells & Secrets Danny and Christine finalize their big day, while Victoria and Nate struggle to resist their growing connection.

Next Week on Y&R

Mama Bear Sharon

In Los Angeles, Sharon (Sharon Case) is beyond happy that her son came out of his coma. However, she and Nick (Joshua Morrow) still don’t understand how Noah (Lucas Adams) ended up in the middle of all this drama, which resulted in his being run off the road. Next week, Sharon channels her inner Mama Bear when she decides to take matters into her own hands.

She’s extremely frustrated that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) isn’t admitting to being Matt. He calls himself “Mitch,” and you bet she will get to the bottom of this. Needless to say, her taking matters into her own hands results in Sharon and Matt trading threats on Wednesday. What will this interaction accomplish? Will Mitch/Matt come clean about what’s going on with him and who he really is?

Drama Magnet Billy Abbott

There will be a lot going on in Genoa City as well. Some of the action surrounds Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). His brand of drama will be coming from multiple angles. First, his relationship with Sally (Courtney Hope) will remain turbulent. Early in the week, they share a difference of opinion.

This could be about Audra (Zuleyka Silver) working for Abbott Communications or something else entirely. On Tuesday, the tension between them escalates when Billy breaks a promise to Sally…again. Billy is supposed to be on his best behavior right now. If he goes above Sally’s CEO head and makes a unilateral decision, then this is just the same old Billy. However, what if his decision is the right decision to make?

By the end of the week, Victor (Eric Braeden) and Adam (Mark Grossman) seize an opportunity to attack Billy. What will be their weapon of choice – another hit piece?

Compromising Position

Meanwhile, Billy’s ex, Lily (Christel Khalil), has her own issues she’s struggling with, namely Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). She tried to wrestle the AI program away from him so she could destroy it. Unfortunately, SOMEONE stole it. That someone was Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), who teamed up with Victor.

Then why does Lily suddenly catch Phyllis and Cane in a compromising position? How will Lily feel about it? It could stir up some emotions that she hasn’t felt in a while. Plus, we might need to examine Cane’s motives for getting close to Phyllis.

If he suspects that she stole his AI program, then we need to ask a couple of questions. Why would Cane even let a compromising position happen? Are there genuine feelings here, or is this about discovering the truth?

Odds & Ends

Audra warns Holden (Nathan Owens) not to reveal their secrets. She recently learned that Holden told Claire (Hayley Erin) the truth about his past with Audra, and Audra freaked out about it. There must be more to the story if, on Monday, she’s still telling Holden to keep their secrets to himself.

In other news, Danny and Christine’s wedding grows ever closer. On Thursday, look for Cricket (Lauralee Bell) and Danny (Michael Damian) to finalize their wedding plans. Hmm…will this be a drama-free wedding where the bride and groom will say their “I Dos” in peace? Or will chaos reign? We’ll soon find out.

This final teaser reveals Victoria (apparently back from L.A.) and Nate (Sean Dominic) struggling to keep their feelings in check. Ever since they both lost someone tragically, they have been turning to each other more and more. On Friday, they will seem closer to a reunion than ever before when Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nate have difficulty ignoring their chemistry. What does that mean?
