On The Young and the Restless, spoilers for the week of June 3 – June 7 focus on Paris problems, awkward Genoa City moments, and corporate shenanigans.
Paris: City of Drama and Secrets
Once again, Ashley (Eileen Davidson — one of the performers of the month for May) and her shaky mental health status takes front and center on Y&R. Good news: This week, it looks like the secret of what happened to Ashley after her restaurant dust-up with Tucker (Trevor St. John) blows up big time.
Expect a couple of shocks and a sudden twist. First, Traci (Beth Maitland) and Ashley learn a shocking secret. Come mid-week, Ashley’s Parisian trip takes an unexpected turn. By the end of the week, Ms. Abbott makes a shocking discovery. So is Ashley about to figure out what caused her to disassociate, resulting in at least two alters to arise? More importantly, what does this have to do with Dr. Alan Laurent’s brother? The one Tucker obviously ran into in the streets of Paris? In the video promo teasing next week’s episodes, Alan (Christopher Cousins) mentions his sibling and he doesn’t seem happy to go into it.
All About Adam
Adam (Mark Grossman) has had a rough time as of late. He feels helpless over Connor’s (Judah Mackey) OCD diagnosis. Not only does he feel helpless, he clearly blames himself for what his son is going through. In the next week, Victor (Eric Braeden) expresses concern about Adam. It’s kind of about time, because it feels like Victor has only had Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) on his mind. Thankfully he realizes, his son is in trouble.
Speaking of trouble, Sally (Courtney Hope — who recently clarified her social media status) interrupts a moment between Adam and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), who admittedly have spent a lot of time together. They’ve worked through their issues and have bonded through this traumatic time. Who wants to hope and pray that this turns out to be nothing? Just us?
Odds and Ends
Over at Chancellor-Winters, chaos continues to reign. Lily (Christel Khalil) has had it with Billy (Jason Thompson). She completely loses patience with her ex, who no doubt is exerting more control in his bid to ensure the Abbott legacy within the walls of CW. Meanwhile, Mamie (Veronica Redd) stands her ground with Nate (Sean Dominic). Guess nobody is going to push Mamie out anytime soon, huh? (Find out why Tonya Lee Williams won’t return to Y&R ever)
Moving on from this corporate war to a shake-up between friends. Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is currently on the outs with Sally. Their interior design company stagnated causing Sally to pivot back to fashion. She hitched her wagon to Marchetti leaving Chloe out in the cold. But no worries, Chloe works to repair her rift with Sally. Here’s something she can do that’ll go a long way with her favorite business partner. Stop tearing down Adam every chance you get.
You know who’s been a better friend to Sally than Chloe lately? Audra (Zuleyka Silver). However, she has her hands full working to pry Glissade out of Tucker’s manipulative hands. Early in the week, the two play a game of cat and mouse. By the end of the week, Tucker takes matters in his own hands. Which matter? The Audra matter or the Ashley matter?
