On The Young and the Restless, spoilers for the week of June 17 – June 21 focus on Nick Newman and his spectacularly dramatic life. Plus, there’s a ton of sibling love, intense drama, and Victor Newman shenanigans to shake up this week in Genoa City.
A Nick Newman Special
Lately, Nick (Joshua Morrow) has been juggling his family drama at Newman Enterprises and Victor’s (Eric Braeden) puppetmaster games. This week, two very special things happen in Nick Newman’s world. (Check out
First, Sharon (Sharon Case) pops back up and interacts with Nick. Yay! Considering it feels like forever since we’ve seen her, why is she leaning on Nick? For business advice or something more personal? Second, at the end of the week, look for a very special Nick Newman-centric episode as Joshua Morrow celebrates his 30th anniversary with Y&R. The show promises to highlight the character’s most memorable moments.
Abbotts En Paris!
Traci (Beth Maitland) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson — who recently celebrated her birthday) have been holding things down in Paris. Together, they’ve dealt with the state of Ashley’s mental health as well as the downfall of Alan’s (Christopher Cousins) sociopathic brother. But they’re still working all that stuff out, which includes Ashley checking herself into a facility where she can deal with her suddenly silent alters.
Good thing Jack (Peter Bergman) heads to Paris to join his sisters. Back in Genoa City, he was too worried about what went down with Ashley to stick around. Also, there is all that awkwardness between Diane (Susan Walters) and Kyle (Michael Mealor). Surely, Jack getting a reprieve from that drama, plus checking in on his sisters, is a kill-two-birds-with-one-stone kind of thing. Hence, his Paris sojourn couldn’t have come at a better time.
Odds and Ends
Audra (Zuleyka Silver) dropped a bomb on Tucker (Trevor St. John). She didn’t need him to give her Glissade. For her, taking it is much better and way more satisfying. It doesn’t hurt that it comes courtesy of a crucial alliance with one Victor Newman. This week, after her big win, look for Nate (Sean Dominic) to interrogate Audra. The curious guy probably wants to know how she managed such a complete victory. Will she tell? What are the terms of her deal with Victor?
Speaking of The Great Victor Newman, he remains booked and busy. He’s helping Audra steal Glissade from Tucker, planning his revenge for Jack, and warning Devon (Bryton James) about Tucker. He also manages to fit in giving orders to Adam (Mark Grossman). It turns out he has a new assignment for him. What does this have to do with getting back at Jack? (Check out Y&R’s weekly video preview here)
Finally, remember Daniel (Michael Graziadei) and Heather (Vail Bloom)? They’ve been patiently waiting to have their day in court. Despite their affair, Daniel feels he has every right to Princess Louisa and other elements of his intellectual property. Yet, he did sign his soul away when he hitched his wagon to Lily’s company. So as they prepare to do battle, will Lily (Christel Khalil) take mercy on them? Or will she crush their hopes and dreams?
