On The Young and the Restless, spoilers for the week of June 24 – June 28 focus on Victor using Kyle to outsmart Jack. Meanwhile, Adam and Chelsea receive bad news, and Billy becomes bothered by Adam and Chelsea’s bond.
This scenario seems odd — Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Nick (Joshua Morrow — who’s celebrating his 30th anniversary) compare notes about Adam (Mark Grossman). Let’s see, Nikki’s down on Adam. Really down on Adam, actually. Repeatedly, she has expressed that she doesn’t trust him, like him, and doesn’t want him to be in their Newman inner circle. Meanwhile, Nick has started to see the light regarding his brother. What do mother and son conclude?
Life continues to be a chore for Adam. First, he and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) receive disturbing news, presumably about their son Connor (Judah Mackey). Whatever happens, Adam will blame himself, and it may even trigger his own issues. Second, he has to worry about Billy Boy Abbott (Jason Thompson) again. Billy clearly doesn’t have enough going on at “Abbott-Chancellor.” Apparently, he is bothered by Chelsea’s bond with Adam. Will he decide to compare notes with Sally (Courtney Hope)?
Devon, Devon, Devon (Bryton James). He and Billy continue to vie for control. Which ego will prevail? Because they’re both hoping to control the situation and edge each other out. Meanwhile, they should both step aside while Lily (Christel Khalil) runs the show. #justsaying
Here’s the thing. Devon doesn’t just question Billy’s choices. He’s also questioning Lily’s decision-making. Does he think Lily will turn on him and her family to favor her ex? Anything could happen. It’s better to prepare for the possibility. However, he needs to give Lily the benefit of the doubt, at least for now. Her focus is on playing Billy. #TeamLily
Okay, everyone. What is going on with Sharon (Sharon Case)? She’s acting mysteriously. It’s like something is going on with her, yet she’s not fessing up. She’s holding something back, and we want to know. This week, look for the CEO and Crimson Lights owner to reminisce about her past, even though she just took a walk down memory lane with Nick. Later, she makes a distress call. We reiterate. What. Is. Going. On. With. Sharon?
Here’s a teaser we can’t get enough of. Traci (Beth Maitland) stayed back in Paris to be there for her sister should Ashley (Eileen Davidson) need her at a moment’s notice. But that leaves a lot of downtime. Apparently, she doesn’t need to worry because she’s enjoying her time with Alan (Christopher Cousins) in the City of Love. How exciting is it that Traci, for once, isn’t being the rock of the Abbott family? That she’s exercising a little self-care and having fun with Ashley’s doctor friend? We. Approve. (Well, we approve as long as Alan is Alan and not his sociopathic brother Martin.)
Unsurprisingly, Victor (Eric Braeden) goes over the top to get back at Jack (Peter Bergman). His mission: use Kyle (Michael Mealor) to outsmart Jack. So, he spends a zillion on acquiring Glissade, takes steps to instill chaos into the Abbott life, and poaches Kyle to run Glissade with Audra (Zuleyka Silver — who recently marked the end of an era).
