On The Young and the Restless, spoilers for the week of July 8 – July 12 focus on business decisions, relationships, and assignments.
Lady Boss
Audra (Zuleyka Silver) fought long and hard to become the lady boss she knew she could be, so you can bet she’s relishing her new role as co-CEO of Glissade. Sure, she has to deal with Kyle (who’s finally making a big move), but that’s not going to stop her from savoring the ride.
On the other hand, Nate (Sean Dominic) wisely questions Audra’s decision to work with Kyle. Kyle is on a power trip that will not end until he can remove that pesky “co” from his “co-CEO” title. Thankfully, we know Audra can protect herself just fine.
Additional Business Shenanigans
Speaking of Nate, he has his own corporate chaos to plan. Both he and Devon (Bryton James — who recently joined Kate Linder for a very special event) do just that when they plot to outsmart Billy (Jason Thompson). As for the third part of this three-headed machine, Lily (Christel Khalil) makes a risky decision. Let’s hope it won’t backfire on her anytime soon.
Over at Marchetti, Sally (Courtney Hope) works to make amends with Summer (Allison Lanier). Summer is already impressed with her skills now that she’s temporarily replaced Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) as lead designer. Can the former foes actually turn into something resembling friends? At Newman, Victor (Eric Braeden) must be on his “get Jack” kick because he tasks Adam (Mark Grossman) with a new assignment. Who wants to tell Victor that once he tells Adam that this is all for revenge against Jack (Peter Bergman), Adam might back off? He and Jack are allies, after all.
Odds and Ends
Meanwhile, Danny (Michael Damian) and Cricket (Lauralee Bell) are on the move, thanks to Danny’s tour. Next week, they visit Traci in Paris. Look for them to eventually stop in Los Angeles.
So our question is still: What’s going on with Sharon (Sharon Case)? She’s been acting oddly lately. She called her doctor to tell them her new meds were making her feel weird. And now, Sharon is haunted by her past. Will she have Cassie (Camryn Grimes)- related flashbacks again? What is the source of her troubles?
Finally, not everything is going smoothly for Claire (Hayley Erin). Look for her to struggle to fit in with her family. Summer is skeptical of her, obviously. And Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) daughter Katie (Sienna Mercuri) is too. Does something else happen to convince her she’s not fitting in? And will this rattle her cage a little bit? Will we see some of the old Claire at all?
