The Young and the Restless ends the month on a suspenseful and dramatic note. Spoilers for this week’s video has Phyllis on the warpath, while Devon begins investigating his sister’s disappearance. Here’s a glimpse of what to expect for February 23-27.
Key Takeaways
- Daniel faces an angry Phyllis.
- Devon shares his concerns about Lily with Abby.
- The Newmans receive troubling news.
Next On…
Daniel (Michael Graziadei) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) are practicing guitar on the Crimson Light patio when Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) barges in. “Daniel Romalotti Junior, I will never, ever forgive you for this!” Phyllis yells at her son.
Last week, Daniel agreed to help Cane (Billy Flynn) with a plan to save Lily (Christel Khalil) and the kids. As part of the plan, Phyllis has to give up control of Newman Enterprises, something that’s easier said than done. Daniel’s made it clear he disagrees with his mother’s takeover and wants to stop her.
Perhaps Phyllis’ fury is that she’s gotten word of Daniel and Cane’s agreement. Or maybe she’ll blame Daniel for sabotaging her visit with Summer (Allison Lanier)?
Closer Than He Thinks
Poor Devon (Bryton James) can’t catch a break. After he and Abby (Melissa Ordway) went through the traumatic ordeal of Dominic’s (Ethan Ray Clark) kidnapping, another kidnapping is disrupting the Winters family. After not hearing from Lily, a worried Devon and Nate (Sean Dominic) start digging into her disappearance.
This week, the men receive a lead and Devon tells Abby the news. When Devon says they have to check it out, Abby tells him to do whatever it takes to keep the family safe.
Unbeknownst to Devon and Abby, her father Victor (Eric Braeden) is behind Lily’s disappearance. When and if Abby discovers the truth, will she tell Devon? Or will she lie to protect her father and risk her marriage?
Their Worst Nightmare
If The Newmans thought they’d seen the last of Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), they were wrong. Victor and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) summon Nick (Joshua Morrow) to the ranch where they inform him Matt’s been released from jail. This infuriates Nick, but Victor’s next piece of news panics him.
Victor says that upon his release, Matt has disappeared. A worried Nick says that Matt could be anywhere, even on the ranch. “How is this happening again?” Nick asks as Victor begins formulating a plan.
There’s no doubt Victor will use his security and resources to track down Matt. But as seen in the past, Matt can easily outwit The Moustache. With Matt back on the loose, no one in the Newman family is safe.
