The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, April 29, reveal the shocking sight of Victor being less than honest and telling lies to protect himself under the guise of doing good for others. So, you know, just another day in Genoa City.
Officer of the Court
Victor (Eric Braeden) pays Michael (Christian Le Blanc) to get him out of his minor, petty legal jams. But Michael is also an officer of the court. If Victor confesses to a crime, Michael is obliged to report it.
So Victor keeps Michael in the dark about his kidnapping and imprisoning of Jordan (Colleen Zenk). Not to protect himself, mind you. Victor knows he is on the right side of history and always will be. Victor is doing this for Michael’s benefit. He’s a giver. There is nothing he won’t do for his flunkies.
Grandma Got Run Over By a Relative
Summer (Allison Lanier) did her best to blame Kyle (Michael Mealor) for Harrison’s (Redding Munsell) disappearance. When the boy was delivered home safe and sound — by Kyle, of all people — Summer felt compelled to change her tune. She still blamed Claire (Hayley Erin).
And Claire getting free reign of Genoa City could be partially attributed to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). So Summer lets her grandma have it. Because no matter how self-righteous she feels, Summer wouldn’t accuse Grandpa of doing something wrong. He is always on the right side of history.
Everything Is Awesome
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) browbeat Adam (Mark Grossman) into agreeing to send Connor (Judah Mackey) away to the treatment center of her choice. Now they’re getting an update on how their son is doing there. Assuming Adam’s checks haven’t bounced, we expect to hear that Connor is doing great…but he needs to remain there indefinitely. You know, for his mental health.
