Jack and Diane’s Trap for Patty May Be Working Too Well
Jack (Peter Bergman) faked a heart attack in a plan he and Diane (Susan Walters) cooked up to smoke out an escaped from the loony bin Patty (Stacy Haiduk). They want her to try to see him at the hospital, at which point the cops will catch her in the act.
So why are they so horrified when Jack’s ex-wife sends him a threatening message? Isn’t that what they wanted? Seems like their plan is humming along nicely. But will Patty outsmart everyone yet again?
Phyllis Can’t Handle Matt Having His Own Plan
Matt (Roger Howarth) thought he could set up Patty and become the hero Genoa City needs. While she spent multiple episodes in an alley, talking to a stuffed cat, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) freaked out.
First, she didn’t understand why Matt had a plan that was different from hers. Like an infant, she couldn’t understand that they were two different people who might have two different opinions.
Then, Phyllis freaked out, convinced that Patty was about to attack them, stab them, and blow them up. Matt refuses to buy into her hysteria. This only makes Phyllis more hysterical.
Victor Decides What Nick Needs and Expects Him to Agree
Victor (Eric Braeden) took a break from running Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) life so he could bark about Adam (Mark Grossman) supporting Jack. But now that’s been settled, he’s back in control of all the family members.
Victor knows what Nick needs to do next, and he’s determined to make sure Nick understands it, too. Victor is even willing to make a little concession of his own.
