The Young and the Restless spoilers update for August 2 – 6, 2021, reveals a revenge plot, an important decision, and an unexpected apology. Tune in next week so you can catch all of the action in Genoa City!
Phyllis Summers has decided to enact revenge against Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) for their part in Summer Newman moving away from Genoa City to pursue her dream job in Italy. In order to carry out her plan, Y&R spoilers show Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) connects with an old friend this week and plots her next move. Once all the pieces are together, Phyllis and Nick realize they have planned the ultimate takedown. So better watch your back, Sally and Tara.
Time is slipping away, and for Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), it is even more precious, as he knows the end is near for him. However, if he has any hope of pulling through this medical nightmare, he will need to make an important decision about his future. Luckily, he has Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to help him do so.
Unfortunately, elsewhere Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is up to his usual no-good machinations and is plotting to retaliate against Victoria. However, his plan will be foiled by Victor, who prevents his son from doing something he might later regret.
In a rather bold fashion, Summer (Hunter King) decides to issue an apology to someone unknown. Could she be reaching back out to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)? After all, she did leave him high and dry yet again. If she does issue Kyle the apology, that could explain why Y&R spoilers show he makes a bold move next week. Maybe Kyle’s bold move is hopping on a private jet to Milan to see Summer? Tune in to The Young and the Restless to find out!
Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) instincts were correct, and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) was in big trouble. She was locked away in a windowless room. Her only contact with the outside world was a dumbwaiter lift her captor used to send her food. She tried to keep herself calm but was reaching her breaking point.
Something shady is going on with Stitch Rayburn (Sean Carrigan). As it turns out, he lied about getting the chief of staff job. In actuality, Nate was awarded the top spot and was thrilled. So far, no one in Abby Newman Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) camp knows that yet, though.
Phyllis tried to play a trick on Tara and Sally to expose them, and it worked, but not in the way she thought. The Abbott men didn’t believe her at first, but a slip-up by Sally put Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) on alert. The bombshell moment came when Kyle overheard Tara on the phone with Sally. It was clear Phyllis wasn’t lying, after all.
