The Young and the Restless spoilers update for June 14 – 18, 2021, reveal a request for help, compromising situations, and rekindling a romance.
The Young and the Restless — The Week Ahead
Expect some fun scenes this week, during a short YR and BB crossover when Sally (Courtney Hope) pays a visit to her old employer Eric Forrester (John McCook). Sally is desperate to get rid of Summer (Hunter King) for good and hopes Eric might be able to help her out. She asks him to extend a job opportunity to Summer and is honest about her intentions behind the ask. Will Eric oblige her request?
Meanwhile, Summer is more worried about the current situation between Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Tara (Elizabeth Leiner). Her patience is wearing thin and she wants Tara out of her and Kyle’s life. The situation only escalates when Summer comes across Kyle in a very compromising position. Expect her to freak out in a big way.
Next week, Elena (Brytni Sarpy) decides to test the waters with Nate (Sean Dominic). She needs to know if there is a spark still there or if that flame has died out. Much to her pleasure, she discovers that the two might be able to pick up where they left off.

Amanda (Mishael Morgan) laid out her plans to clear Sutton’s (Jack Landron) name but he didn’t like them very much. He demanded she finds her father’s killer instead of digging up dirt on the family. Amanda threatened to quit and Sutton threatened to fire her.
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) struggled to keep up her crazy charade, especially around Adam (Mark Grossman). He refused to let her see Connor (Judah Mackey) while in a manic state and she nearly came clean. Chelsea caught herself just in time, though.
Ashland (Richard Burgi) pulled away from his custody suit and offered a reasonable solution. All three parents could see and raise the little boy. Kyle and Tara were floored and thought it was nothing but a scheme.
