The Young and the Restless — The Week Ahead
Another week, another wedding. This time it is Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) chance at a happily ever after. Unfortunately, for Ashland, all of his secrets are out and it’s made his bride hesitant to say ‘I Do.’
Still giddy from their own (offscreen) wedding, Summer Newman Abbott (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) arrive in Tuscany. While Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) make a bold move. This is Sally’s last chance to get her beautifully designed wedding dress in front of Victoria’s eyes, and she doesn’t hold back.
Leading up to the wedding, Victoria gets an opportunity to hear an apology from Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow). He tells her how sorry he is for looking into Ashland’s past when Victoria told him time and time again to stay out of it. Even if it now looks like Nick was on to something with all of his suspicions and snooping.
Trouble looms like a dark cloud on the bride and groom’s wedding week. Will they make it down the aisle or call off the nuptials in light of Nikki Reed Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) startling discovery?

Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) set Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) on another downward spiral when she decided Dominic was switching to formula. Not only did she not need Mariah’s milk but Dominic was ill and she didn’t want Mariah around. That didn’t stop Mariah from skipping the Italy trip in case the baby needed her.
Summer and Kyle fans did not get to see their favorite couple walk down the aisle. Instead, it happened off-screen with Nikki merely updating Victoria and Ashland on how lovely the wedding was.

The worst of Ashland’s past was revealed and it was criminal. As it turns out, he and Gaines Sr. faked Camilla leaving him an inheritance. Camilla never intended on leaving her money-hungry protege a dime. Nikki heard the news and implored Ashland to call off the wedding and suggested he do the right thing and let Victoria go.
