No Hard Feelings
A trip back to the Abbott Mansion ignites a trip back in time for Jack and Dina. The mother and son come face to face for the first time since the explosive fight and Jack tries to make peace with the past.

It’s been a rough few weeks for Jack (Peter Bergman) as he’s tried to put his life back together but his paternity is always in the forefront of his mind. It’s a tough ride and he can’t seem to reconcile how or why his mom kept such a massive secret.

Thankfully, Jack’s about to get at least some of his questions answered.

Dina Spills All She Knows
Dina (Marla Adams) and Jack sit down for a few drinks and it triggers the matriarch to share her tale. She tells Jack how she struggled with her marriage to John (who was married more to Jabot than to her) and what led to her taking a lover.

She wasn’t out looking for an affair but when the opportunity fell into her lap she just couldn’t help herself.

They had an affair for several months but ended it when she became pregnant. Dina had planned to leave John and be with her lover. Sadly, it wasn’t in the cards and their relationship fizzled.

Much to Dina’s heartbreak, Jack’s dad took a step back and urged her to live a life with John. It was a decision she’s lived to regret. While John was a good man she’s always wondered what could have been.

A Nameless Mystery
Unfortunately, of all the details Dina did remember it was the biggest detail that still had her stumped. She simply couldn’t come up with a name. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
