The Abbott family has a daunting task ahead of them. Jack (Peter Bergman), Ashley (Eileen Davidson), and Traci (Beth Maitland) have no choice but to move their mother into a new home.
Dina (Marla Adams) needs around the clock care by professionals. Her episodes are turning violent, her temper continues to spiral, and her wandering is out of control.
Sadly, Dina becomes lucid at exactly the wrong moment and realizes what her children are up to. They are trying to get rid of her! How dare they pack her up and move her away?! She deserves better than that!
Well, Dina is not about to go quietly. She causes a fuss and runs away! She’s out a window and off the property before anyone can stop her. Life on the run is better than a life in a home!

Tessa’s promise is all Dina needs to go home, pack her things, and get ready for her new life. She has grand plans to make new friends, walk through new gardens, and see her new favorite starlet!
Well, once Abby finds all this out Tessa’s life takes a turn, too. She offers to set the songstress up with some time on the Society stage in hopes of getting her a whole new record deal!
