The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, October 9, 2020, reveal another bad day for Elena that leaves Nate a bit panicked and Devon quite confused.
Elena (Brytni Sarpy) just sleeps the whole day away after her big mistake the night before and wakes up in time for dinner. She is still out of sorts and can barely crack a smile and Devon (Bryton James) knows something is wrong, but he has no idea what it may be.
He just tries to be the perfect boyfriend and cook up dinner for Elena, but the fridge is empty and Elena barely pays attention to what he is saying. Of course, Devon doesn’t suspect what’s really going on.
Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) seems to know and he has a pointed conversation with Nate (Sean Dominic) at Crimson Lights where he talks about betraying friends and family, eating away at Nate’s guilt over having a one-night stand with Devon’s girlfriend. Nate just stands there with a blank look nodding at Nick, but you can see the guilt and fear in his eyes.
Back at the penthouse, when Devon leaves the room, Elena gets on her phone and texts Nate that she just can’t take it anymore and needs to fess up. Nate gets her to agree not to say anything until they can talk the next day, but that doesn’t stop Elena from shedding more tears.
It also doesn’t stop her from making love to Devon right there on the couch and then crying during sex, which is always appealing. Poor Devon is confused again and tries to talk Elena out of going to work the next day. Take a break, he says. Relax, enjoy life. Easier said than done when you’re an impulsive cheating girlfriend. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
