The Young and Restless Spoilers Highlights
YR fans had already met street-smart Drucilla (Victoria Rowell) when she was revealed to be Mamie’s (Marguerite Kay) niece and Olivia’s (Tonya Lee Williams) sister. Dru got a job in the mailroom at Jabot. It’s while going about her daily duties that she bumps into Jabot’s latest hire. Well, presumably he’s been there for a while because Jack (Peter Bergman) compliments him on a report he wrote for him.
But he’s new to viewers. And, more importantly, to Dru. She likes what she sees. So she responds the only way Dru knows how: By being snide to him. And we all know what instant antipathy leads to, don’t we, my fellow soap fans?
Son O’ Mine
Kay’s (Jeanne Cooper) son, Brock (Beau Kazer), was always a wandering soul and a free spirit. But wandering souls and free spirits have a tendency to get themselves into trouble they’ve just freely wandered into, once in a while.
Kay lives in perennial dread of hearing bad news about Brock. And, on Monday, she gets some. (Fun fact: In her autobiography, Jeanne Cooper revealed that she had a multi-year affair with Kazer. They were friends until her death. How free-spirited and cool is that!)
Irreconcilable Differences
Olivia and Nathan (Nathan Purdee) are Nate’s (Sean Dominic) parents. So you know that they got along once in a while. Monday… will not be one of those whiles. The couple has a fundamental difference of opinion… which will lead to a separation down the road. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
