Your The Young and the Restless spoilers weekly update is here! Catch up on what you missed, get a sneak peek at what’s ahead, and find out how you can get involved in the soap opera community!
We went on an emotional ride on The Young and the Restless this week, with more than a few twists and turns along the way!
David Kimble went on a killing spree, but he was the one who wound up dead, having jumped down the same garbage chute that he had activated. We were also treated to a flashback of Isabella’s infamous bathtub scene with Christine, which saw the two women in a fight over Paul.
Finally, Sheila made some of her many evil appearances, first tormenting Lauren on her honeymoon, and then we witnessed Sarah trying to kill her doppelganger at the carnival grounds. Everything got pretty intense, and next week will follow suit. Here are the spoilers!
The Abbotts all take center stage, and their place in Genoa City’s history seems to be solidifying when John retakes control of Jabot. Not everything will be entirely pleasant, though, especially not when Traci is goaded into showing her less-restrained side.
A sense of togetherness will round out the week, though, when the family receives a bittersweet reminder about the true meaning of Christmas.
This past week was pretty interesting, and the coming ones may bring some unexpected developments. With things being what they are, it’s easy to miss important moments… but that’s why Soap Hub is here to help. If you have any questions, thoughts, or even theories, don’t hesitate to share them with the community!

Y&R made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades’ worth of storylines has kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations to Paul Williams’ (Doug Davidson) heroism, to the adorable love story of Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle), Y&R knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting, and soap operas are shrinking.
Y&R is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). Y&R airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
