Your The Young and the Restless spoilers weekly update for May 18-22, 2020 is here! Catch up on what you missed, get a sneak peek at what’s ahead, and find out how you can get involved in the soap opera community!
We watched a number of twists and turns on The Young and the Restless this week, and the one ahead promises some curves of its own! A classic catfight was revisited after Katherine caught Jill in the act of looking for proof of Phyllis having left her a fortune.
There was also a powerful clash between Sharon and Nikki, which was equal parts wet and wild… and which saw them both being arrested.
Of course, the biggest battle was the one between Victor and Jack, after the Mustache returned from having faked his death, intent on reclaiming his throne. Emotions were already escalating, and next week, they’ll be even higher! Here are the spoilers!
It’s a week of Neil Winters as we go back to 1991, having a look at the man’s arrival in Genoa City, and the paths that he crossed with the people there. After quickly making a name for himself, the man’s life is upended by the arrival of his estranged brother.
Things do end on a high note, however, when Neil and Drucilla take an important step together, finalizing their official adoption of Devon.
This past week was pretty interesting, and the coming ones may bring some unexpected developments. With things being what they are, it’s easy to miss important moments… but that’s why Soap Hub is here to help. If you have any questions, thoughts, or even theories, don’t hesitate to share them with the community!
What did you like most about this week? What are you most excited to see next week? Y&R made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades’ worth of storylines has kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations, to Paul Williams’ (Doug Davidson) heroism, to the adorable love story of Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle), Y&R knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting, and soap operas are shrinking.
Y&R is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). Y&R airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
