The Young and the Restless spoilers for December 28, 2020,-January 1, 2021, tease wedding day blues for Rey and Sharon, Phyllis down but not out, and so much more!

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights

On the eve of her wedding to Rey (Jordi Vilasuso), a stressed-out Sharon (Sharon Case) receives a visit from Nicholas (Joshua Morrow). At first, she’s concerned that he’s there to issue his regrets and rescind his acceptance of Rey’s offer to play best man…but Nick has merely shown up to voice his approval of Sharon’s most recent decisions.

What he can’t approve of, however, is Sharon’s continued concern for Adam (Mark Grossman). Sharon irritatedly brushes his concerns aside, thanks him for his earlier praise, and shows him the door. Later, she and Rey spend their final few moments together prior to their wedding.

The next day, the bride-to-be arrives at Society where preparations for her big day are underway. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) makes herself useful, and Sharon is soon ready to meet her groom. The ceremony commences, but it’s interrupted by a certain uninvited guest!

Darkside Calling

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) can hardly believe her luck. Thanks to Gloria’s (Judith Chapman) snooping, ol’ Red knows that there’s cold, hard proof that a Newman Enterprises exec embezzled a small fortune out from under Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) nose.

What do you think? Post a comment!

Trouble is, Kevin (Greg Rikaart), who’s in possession of said proof, refuses to pony up. And there’s no amount of cajoling or bribing that’s going to convince him to do so. But is Phyllis REALLY prepared to just give up? Not exactly. Spoilers warn that the disgruntled hotelier will move on to Plan B…and it doesn’t sound good!

YR Odds and Ends

In other Genoa City news, Mariah protects Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind), Victor (Eric Braeden) takes control, and Summer (Hunter King) decides to play dirty.

Meanwhile, Sally (Courtney Hope) opens up about her past, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) suffers a setback, and Abby (Melissa Ordway) reunites with Arturo (Jason Canela).

Finally, Nate’s (Sean Dominic) plan to romance Elena (Brytni Sarpy) backfires spectacularly…and yet sparks fly between them anyway. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
