Victor (Eric Braeden) is in a bad mood on the holiday. This means everyone around him should be in a bad mood, too. Or, at least, not flaunt their good mood in Victor’s face. Sure, let the grandchildren have a nice time, but the children all need to pay homage to the man who brought them all here. Victor is pouting about Adam (Mark Grossman). But then a surprise manages to change the vibe… and maybe even the future.
Welcome Mat
After an afternoon of ice-skating and present enabling, Jack is looking forward to a holiday celebration with his family… and a surprise guest. Will it be Sally (Courtney Hope) turning up on the Abbott’s doorstep… after checking if it’s OK, of course.

And if it is, is she doing it as a means to unseat Summer (Hunter King) professionally… a way to enchant Kyle (Michael Mealor) personally… or is she after a much bigger prize? Could Jack be the one in her crosshairs? It would be pretty poetic justice after all the younger women Smiling Jack used and discarded in his past…
Road Trip
First, Amanda (Mishael Morgan) didn’t want to meet her biological mother. Then she looked up where the woman lives. Then she asked Devon (Bryton James) to take a Christmas road trip with her. He agreed and now they’re off on an adventure! Devon is definitely the right person to have in your corner when dealing with meeting new family members.
He’s been there and done that. But will meeting the woman who gave birth to Amanda… and Hilary, too… change Devon and Amanda’s relationship for the nice… or for the naughty? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
