Summer (Hunter King) isn’t going to let little things like Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) ex-fling, a surprise 3-year-old, and some rich angry dude get in the way of her happily ever after. She tightens up her engagement ring, stands up straight, and claims her man. She and Kyle are making it to the altar one way or another.
The young couple is crazy in love and announces their wedding is back on. Break out the Champagne! It’s time to celebrate! Or, is it? Something tells us things will not go the way they want. We aren’t the only ones worried for their future.
Spoilers show their parents will be shocked by the news. Jaws drop and eyes roll when Kyle and his bride-to-be make their announcement. Will their families support their decision when everyone can see there is disaster ahead? The Young and the Restless History
YR made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in.
From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations to Rey Rosales’s (Jordi Vilasuso) heroism to the adorable love story of Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer (Hunter King), YR knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more.
Bringing the Drama
It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB). YR airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
