The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, December 9, 2020, find exes Billy and Victoria each taking drastic steps to get their way… and finding equally vehement opposition. Who will persevere?

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) tried to do as Nick (Joshua Morrow) asked and make nice with his girlfriend. Of course, Victoria’s version of making nice had her buying the majority share in the hotel Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) thought of as hers, then forcing Phyllis to do her bidding. Phyllis did not do said bidding with great enthusiasm. So Victoria decided she’d had enough.

How would Victor (Eric Braeden) respond to such circumstances? Why he’d do something to screw somebody over! Victoria can do that! She makes a phone call… and she makes sure that Phyllis will lose any holdings she has left. Sure, Nick might be upset. But business is business, you know? It’s the Newman family motto… in Latin.

Innocent Man

Billy (Jason Thompson) insists he didn’t try to shoot Adam (Mark Grossman). Yeah, it was his gun. But that could have been stolen. Yeah, he was in the vicinity of the crime. But he was just looking for Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan).

Even Rey (Jordi Vilasuso), who arrested Billy, confessed to Sharon (Sharon Case) that he isn’t convinced of Billy’s guilt.

You know who is convinced, though? Victor (Eric Braeden). Victor would love it if the son-in-law he despises were sent to prison – or even the electric chair – for shooting the son Victor insists is simply misunderstood.

How would Victor respond to such circumstances? Why he’d do something to screw somebody over! Which is exactly what Victor decides to do to Billy when the wheels of justice fail to grind at a pace Victor Newman finds acceptable. Is there a frame up on the horizon?
