The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, August 19, 2020 promise a brand-new, major story, as Victoria makes a move that she knows Victor won’t approve of. Meanwhile, Chelsea goes to Sharon for answers, and Billy encourages Amanda to dive in headfirst (like he so often does).
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights
On Monday, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) made an offer to Jack (Peter Bergman), and he agreed. We don’t know what that agreement actually included, though, since the important parts of their conversation took place while the cameras were focused elsewhere. All we do know is that it will change everything we’ve come to expect about Newman Enterprises… which means that we also know Victor will hate it.
Victoria doesn’t care. Maybe, then, neither should we. It’ll be fun to watch the Mustache deal with somebody as stubborn as he is.

Adam Equals Man Pain
Adam (Mark Grossman) recently told Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) that he wants to work with Sharon (Sharon Case) as he tries to recall what really happened the night when Victor (Eric Braeden) claims little Adam killed a guy. Chelsea said she doesn’t want him doing that… especially with Sharon. Now she’s heading over to have the very same conversation with Sharon that she already had with Adam. Will Sharon manage to change Chelsea’s mind or is this just an exercise in futility?
Do As I Say
Elsewhere, Billy (Jason Thompson) sees himself as a bad-boy rebel. Check him out, leaving a corporate job… for another corporate job. Now he’s cutting an unsupportive woman loose… so that he can jump into another relationship with a woman who also won’t just worship him unconditionally.
Billy is living his best life, and he wants Amanda (Mishael Morgan) to follow his lead. She, frankly, seems smarter than that, but she’s also had a weird thing for Billy from the start. Will she let him mess up yet another life? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
