The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, April 16, 2021, end the week with Victoria trying to outsmart Adam yet again, which leads to Nikki needing to play peacemaker for the family. Plus, Nick may need a peacemaker of his own when he makes a confession to Phyllis.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) should be sitting on top of the world. Either Billy (Jason Thompson) flipped a coin in her favor or she won fair and square, but, the point stands, she convinced Ashland (Richard Burgi) to sell his media company to her, rather than Adam (Mark Grossman) and Victor (Eric Braeden).
But it’s not enough for Victoria to just enjoy the win. She needs to rub it in, too. Which means taking on her father and her brother. That will end well.
And it means that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will need to step in to referee her husband and his children. Again. Sure, Nikki is instinctively on her own daughter’s side. But she hasn’t been thrilled with Victoria’s actions lately. Or Victor’s. Whenever she tells either of them how she feels, though, they bite her head off. Nikki keeps trying. This will end well.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) seem to be in a good place now. They’re usually happier when they’re happily unwed. But she’s going around, obsessed with Sally (Courtney Hope), to the point where even Summer (Hunter King) had to tell her to cool it. She didn’t.
Nick isn’t pleased with her latest project, but he’s been too busy with Faith (Reylynn Caster). Now that Faith is better, he can refocus on Phyllis again. Which means Nick will share a few choice opinions with her. He knows what she’s been doing. And it needs to stop. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
