The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, May 8 find Victor tired of not being able to buy off Lady Justice, while Summer decides Sally needs to pay for her latest offense, and Nate manages to, once again, antagonize, Devon.
The Young and the Restless Spoiler Highlights
Victor (Eric Braeden) wonders what the point is of contributing to political campaigns if it doesn’t buy him the political results he wants. To whit: Victor has repeatedly told Michael (Christian Le Blanc) that the Genoa City district attorney needs to declare Adam (Mark Grossman) innocent – pronto.
Yet his bought-and-paid-for civil servant keeps dragging his feet. Blah, blah, blah, proper procedure… blah, blah, blah, chain of evidence. Victor doesn’t care about that! Victor knows Adam didn’t try to kill Rey (Jordi Vilasuso). His word should be enough to put an end to the whole witch hunt! It’s how they handled Faith’s (Reylynn Caster) underage drinking and driving charge. That’s what we call service. You got that?
End Of Truce
Lauren (Tracey Bregman) forced Summer (Hunter King) and Sally (Courtney Hope) to shake hands and promise they wouldn’t fight anymore. They did. But now Summer has discovered yet another terrible thing Sally has done.
Our money is on Sally having confronted Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) and ordered her to call her husband off Jabot. She was doing it for the Abbotts, but Summer likely sees it as encroaching on her turf. And she can’t let Sally get away with that!
Cousin Versus Cousin
Nate (Sean Dominic) and Devon (Bryton James) have been making nice for Moses’s (Jacob Aaron Gaines) sake. But it’s been weeks since they’ve glared at each other. On Thursday, Nate says something which sets Devon off. Let’s see if he’ll punch him again. And if, this time, Nate doesn’t just take it. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
