The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, April 20, 2021, find a Victor who feels he is losing control turning to the one target he thinks he can, while Mariah gets a sense of what carrying Abby’s baby will really be like, and Elena comes face to face with proof of how badly she screwed up.
The Young and the Restless Spoiler Highlights
Victor (Eric Braeden) talks a good game, but even he has to suspect his life is falling apart. And by life, we mean his sense of infallibility. Despite Victor’s best efforts, Adam (Mark Grossman) is still a wanted fugitive, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is making decisions he believes betray the family, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) isn’t taking his side on absolutely everything, and Nick (Joshua Morrow) insists on being his own man instead of Daddy’s lap dog. What does Victor still have left? Ah… Billy (Jason Thompson).
Victor can still taunt Billy about losing out on the Ashland (Richard Burgi) media deal not once, but twice. And to a Newman both times! (Victor will accept Victoria as an appendage of his as long as she’s doing something Victor can hold over Billy’s head.)
Sick Out
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) thought being Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) surrogate would be all praise about what a generous thing she’s doing, rooms in mansions, and adorable gifts. She forgot there would actually be morning sickness and fatigue and stretch marks and, at the end, a baby she’s bonded to… that she has to give up.
Without Love
Elena (Brytni Sarpy) lost Nate (Sean Dominic). Elena lost Devon (Bryton James). It’s one thing to tell Lola (Sasha Calle) she accepts it. It’s another to come face to face with it on a daily basis.
