The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, August 20, 2020, reveal the consequences of Victoria’s stunning move, as Victor insists that everyone in the Newman family pledge their undying loyalty either to him or to Victoria. Meanwhile, Nikki contemplates the future, and Jack and Traci continue chasing a ghost.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights
Like Gaston in Beauty and the Beast – who yelled the above-bolded statement on his way to “Kill the beast!” – Victor (Eric Braeden) takes a firm approach with his family. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is selling off divisions of Newman Enterprises, with Cosmetics going to Jabot – which means Jack (Peter Bergman) – and Communications going to Chancellor… which means Billy (Jason Thompson).
Victor is spitting mad. He wants to know who supports this disrespectful plan of Victoria’s, and who will stand by his side with torches and pitchforks. The answer to that question will certainly decide which child is Victor’s favorite… at least for this week.
Mama In the Middle
Of course, when Victor goes to war with one of his children – even Adam (Mark Grossman) or Abby (Melissa Ordway) – Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) always ends up being the one stuck in the middle. We can only hope she puts her foot down this time and refuses to play peacemaker in a problem that Victor and his children have made themselves. Let them deal with things on their own for change… and let Nikki pursue her own interests, which now come from a very surprising source.
Little Boxes From Dina
Jack and Traci (Beth Maitland) remain convinced that Dina (Marla Adams) blurting out the name of John’s old movie camera means something deep and profound, and that it wasn’t just a slip of the tongue on their mother’s part.
They are so convinced, in fact, that they have sent for Dina’s things from Paris. Even as the family prepares to dive in, there’s a question they should be asking themselves: Would Mother want us digging through her stuff like this? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
