The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Newman’s Wildest Dream Ever?

Nikki finally runs in and says the cops are there and ready. Victor says ok and looks towards Adam. But nobody is standing there.

Does this mean Victor is getting worse or did he allow Adam a chance to get away? His spells and memory lapses were bad but this takes the cake.
