The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, May 5 spotlight Victor catching Chelsea in the act of faking her illness, but it may be too late to save Adam – or, Sharon fears, Faith.
The Young and the Restless Spoiler Highlights
Victor (Eric Braeden) has always believed that Adam (Mark Grossman) was innocent of poisoning Rey (Jordi Vilasuso). Rey is starting to believe that, too. Which is good news for Adam. But not quick enough for Victor.
The Mustache decides to take matters into his own hands, and catch Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) when she drops her guard and forgets she’s supposed to be paralyzed. Will this be enough to prove Adam’s innocence?
Course Correction
Meanwhile, back in Kansas, Adam has agreed to return to Genoa City and donate a kidney to Faith (Reylynn Caster). He and Nick (Joshua Morrow) manage to break out of the cellar they’ve been locked in, but then the ceiling fell on them. Seriously, guys, God clearly doesn’t want this transplant to happen, take a hint.
Nick promised that if Adam gives Faith a kidney, Nick will either help his brother prove his innocence… or help him disappear. How will Victor feel to learn all his clever planning might be for naught? He should be the hero!
Circling the Wagons
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Sharon (Sharon Case) have a very complicated history. But Nikki was supportive of Sharon during her battle with breast cancer, and she’s been equally there for her throughout Faith’s medical crises.
When Nikki gets news of Chelsea’s con from Victor, will she pass the news on to Sharon, who will pass it on to Rey? But will Rey act on the tip if it comes from the Newmans? That’s the problem with living in a small and very incestuous town! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
