The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) reveal Victor’s not easily fooled (but didn’t we know that?), and his own daughter could be on the receiving end of his furor.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Jack (Peter Bergman) set Ashley (Eileen Davidson) up for corporate espionage, but everything looked just a little too perfect. They should’ve known that Ashley wouldn’t take it lying down and that Victor (Eric Braeden) is no pushover.
After listening to Ashley’s side of the story, Victor started looking elsewhere. First on his list of suspects just happens to be Victoria’s ex new lover, J.T. (Thad Luckinbill). Not only does The Mustache take him off the case, but he also has the head of Newman security followed.
A sullen J.T. complains to Victoria, and she promises to talk to Daddy. It’s just a matter of time before Victor fires Ashley — right? Funny that Vicky still believes her little scheme worked.
Later, Victor confronts Jack himself at the club. Of course, the head of Jabot pretends to be completely clueless about whatever it is that Victor’s talking about. Sure… Jack knows absolutely nothing.
Victor leaves their impromptu meeting more convinced than ever that Ashley wasn’t behind the leaked documents. Whether or not he believes Victoria betrayed him remains to be seen, but he certainly believes it wasn’t Ashley.
In the break room at Newman, J.T. confronts Victor over the fact that he appears to enjoy Ashley gunning for Victoria’s job. But, the Newman patriarch warns J.T. to be careful and reminds him that he knows Victoria better than anyone else — after all, she’s a chip off the old block.
The day finally ends, but before heading home Victoria and J.T. steal a moment alone in her office to make out. They don’t count on Victor barging in and guiltily jump apart while Victor smirks.
Speaking of guilty, Victor announces he’s come to a conclusion on who colluded with Jack Abbott… Now what?
