Y&R Weekly Recap
The current started picking up on The Young and the Restless this week, and just about everyone got swept along by the stream! Adam seized power from the rest of his family, which immediately turned everyone else against him.
While they were forging alliances, Amanda started into a relationship with Nate… and even opened up about having never known her biological family.
Speaking of family, though, the battle between Kyle and Theo started heating up, with Summer concocting a scheme that’s intended to undo her former lover’s moves against her current ones. We’re certainly picking up speed, and next week, we’ll be on the rapids. Here are the spoilers!
Y&R Weekly Teasers
Nick’s attention becomes split as he tries to focus on his plans with Phyllis, while also offering Sharon the help that she requests from him. That’s good news for Adam, at least, who starts to feel the pressure mounting from just about every direction at once.
Something oddly similar could be said of Victor, too, especially after his attempts at doing damage-control fall short… and an explosive secret comes out.

The Young and the Restless’s History
Y&R made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades’ worth of storylines has kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations to Paul Williams’ (Doug Davidson) heroism, to the adorable love story of Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle), Y&R knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting, and soap operas are shrinking.
Bringing the Drama
Y&R is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). Y&R airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
