The Young and the Restless spoilers weekly update for December 16-20, 2019, is here! Catch up on what you missed, get a sneak peek at what’s ahead, and see our weekly specials, just for fans!
The icy atmosphere gave way to rising heat on The Young and the Restless, and the steam reached scalding temperatures!
Connor continued to manipulate his parents, throwing tantrum after tantrum, and leaving Chelsea with the feeling that she had to always be around the boy. On the other hand, Chance opted for a little bit of distance, turning down Abby’s job offer… but still making it clear that he’d be staying in Genoa City.
Amanda will be sticking around, too, much to Devon’s secret delight. Still, his discovery of her secret has given him some pause. Sparks are definitely flying, and next week, we’ll see an open flame! Here are the spoilers!
Chelsea’s continued focus on Conner – along with her proximity to Adam – begins to threaten her relationship with Nick, who starts to consider the prospect of moving on.
At the same time, Theo grows even closer with the Abbotts, shifting all of his relationships in the process. Speaking of the Abbots, Jack is in for a surprise of his own, after Phyllis’s desire for revenge leads her to open up to him.
That’s all for now, everyone… but don’t leave just yet! We want to hear from you now! What did you like most about this week? What are you most excited to see next week?

YR made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations to Paul Williams’ (Doug Davidson) heroism to the adorable love story of Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle), YR knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.
It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of Our Lives (DAYS), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB). YR airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
