We saw some fireworks on The Young and the Restless, and not just because of the holiday! Summer’s continued obsession with Kyle finally came out during a date with Theo, causing him to get so fed up that he cut their date short.
Phyllis wound up feeling a similar amount of frustration after trying to throw a celebratory party for herself… but only Jack, Lauren, and Michael showed up. Speaking of untimely arrivals, Chelsea’s husband Calvin came to Genoa City, meeting with Adam, telling his wife to relinquish custody of Connor… and ultimately winding up dead.

The explosions keep coming, and next week will bring a big one! Here are the spoilers! Fresh off the death of the woman’s husband, Adam makes it clear that he wants to move forward with Chelsea, showing a side to himself that had seemingly gone dormant.
The situation only offers more fuel for the fire, though, especially after she and Nick have their own charged moment. Unfortunately, the entire clan will soon be blindsided, after Nikki lets a stunning secret slip out into the open.
