The Young and the Restless spoilers weekly update for January 6-10, 2019, is here! Catch up on what you missed, get a sneak peek at what’s ahead, and see our weekly specials, just for fans!
The fireworks certainly flew on The Young and the Restless, and now we’re hearing the explosions! New Year’s Eve saw Nick ending things with Chelsea, after which she immediately ran back into Adam’s arms.
Everyone made their own decisions, but it’s fair to say that Phyllis helped the scenario along… and she also had her own aims in mind, as she threatened to expose Chance’s secret if he pushed her too far.
Speaking of going too far, Billy almost did, spending far more time with Amanda than was wise… and only barely making it back to Victoria before the clock struck midnight. Now that rumble is growing louder, and someone is set to be overwhelmed! Here are the spoilers!
As Theo begins a walk down an unwise path, Jack shows that his support for the young man is unwavering… but that same support ultimately backfires.
Amanda’s presence continues to make waves, as well, resulting in both a confrontation and a confession. Throughout it all, Sharon continues to hide what she discovered, prompting Rey to suspect that something about her has changed.

YR made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations to Paul Williams’ (Doug Davidson) heroism to the adorable love story of Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle), YR knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.
It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB). YR airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
